Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Smart Split, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Your Account

You need an account to use Smart Split. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has access to it.

You must provide a working email address to sign up, and you're responsible for keeping it accurate so account-related emails (like confirmation and password-reset links) reach you.

Permitted Use

Use Smart Split for its intended purpose: planning workouts, tracking your training, and connecting with friends inside the app. Don't:

Impersonate another person, or use a username intended to mislead or impersonate someone else.
Harass, abuse, or send unwanted invites or messages to other users.
Attempt to access another user's account or data, or interfere with the app's normal operation.
Use the app to collect or harvest other users' information beyond what the app's own features expose to you.

Not Medical Advice

Smart Split provides workout planning and tracking tools. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, health, or fitness advice tailored to you. Talk to a qualified professional before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have an existing health condition. You use Smart Split's workout recommendations and tracking at your own risk.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you add to Smart Split, including your profile photo and any information you enter. By uploading a profile photo, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you give us permission to store and display it as part of your profile within the app, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Don't upload a profile photo that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you wouldn't want to be accessible via a direct link — see the Privacy Policy for why that matters.

Service Availability

Smart Split is provided as-is. We aim to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee the app or any feature will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Termination

You may stop using Smart Split at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the app or other users. Where reasonably possible, we'll try to let you know why.

Intellectual Property

Smart Split's name, branding, and app design belong to us. These terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond what's needed to use the app normally.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smart Split is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any injury related to workouts performed using information from the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Smart Split changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to let you know in the app.
